Accelerated Curing Tank is used to speed up the curing process of concrete specimens. Curing is the process of maintaining the right temperature and moisture conditions so that concrete can gain the desired strength and durability. Accelerated curing is used to determine the compressive strength of concrete in 28 hours, which would normally take 28 days. This is achieved by increasing the temperature of the water used for curing, which speeds up the hydration process of cement.
